Re: RC10 Replica Project
Precisely 20 years ago I sold my RC10 on which I competed a couple of years around 1990.
Now I have a replica of it and I'm happy with the result. This accuracy is enough for me.
Still I have to "stone wash" it a little bit on the race track to get the authentic look.
I might also have the CRP rear wing then!
Check also the picture in the start of the topic...

Re: RC10 Replica Project
Wow, that's a replica If I've ever seen one. You even still have the same red car in the background.

Re: RC10 Replica Project
To be honest - obviously it's not a replica - after all I did not build/modify it to replicate the original red car.
It just happens to be identical. Back in time we had two identical cars in family. One is still around. That's why the picture re-creation was quite easy to arrange.

Re: RC10 Replica Project
You did a great job replicating your old car. And the on track shots look awesome seeing that vintage buggy flying through the air.
Re: RC10 Replica Project
That makes two of us. You guys are making me want to go down this same route. I remember seeing pics of my old 6 gear car somewhere...SRTracer121 wrote:i actually was so involved in reading the post my eyes only glanced at the photo and i thought i was looking at a repost of the original cars picture.
