Raider rebuild-She's finished, kind of!
Re: Raider rebuild
It's been a while so I thought I'd best make an update post.
I bought the Traxxas off my mate then sold it to Jay Dub but not before removing the electrics so I have my ESC for the Raider sorted. I also bought from the same man a new chassis and some lovely NIP Raider Pro wheels is yellow to go on so I've been swapping bits over and getting it put together.
Will upload some pics of the current progress shortly including the new mounts for the ESC and receiver though the ESC mounts bolt need moving out just slightly so it will sit nicely under the brace. Also I've mounted the new motor and been soldering wires and connections ready for plugging in.
All I'm waiting for now is the tyres to arrive, some caps to put on the motor then I need to order paint and shocks.

Re: Raider rebuild
Well she's finished but not running right, I can only get it to run in reverse! I think the esc is a forward only one which I have no problem with but I need to sort it out so I'm not having to switch the motor connections round and use the remote in reverse rather than forward. Any suggestions??
Anyhow, here's some finished pics! I decided in the end it wasn't worth splashing out money on new shocks when I didn't need to so I just resprayed the red bits with the paint I did the body in so thay match.

Very nice.
Looks really good. Well done on a great re build.
Try swapping the motor wires around. Than it should be fine.

Are there servo reverse switch on the remote? Try changing the throttle one. You might have to set up the ESC again.
