much as i'm enjoying my new builds, i've got the most satisfaction out of restoring my original gold pan. so heres my next rescue job. quite exciting as you never really know what you're getting till it comes.

Re: resto 2
One of my favorites moments too, with restoring them. Then just watching at them on the dusty shelf is more like bluesy...badhoopty wrote:it is kinda cool that moment when you crack open the box and REALLY get to check out an old rc10.
'cept when it smells like cat pee...

Re: resto 2
i got home from a week working away today, this had arrived. i dont think i'm going to have to buy anything for it. its sweet bar a bent shock rod which i have a few and a cracked arm. this weekend will be spent amid the fumes of bleach and a mountain of soon to be white plastic.
it didn't smell of cat wee either
feels like a good score.

Re: resto 2
all except screws, nuts, bolts, a rear shock rod and a front arm yeah. the car looked like it had been used 2-3 times, one big crash and then put away. dust, a bit of shock oil and some rusty hardware is all i had to deal with.

Re: resto 2
great looking car man. best satisfaction you'll ever get is out of restoring someting that means something to you. My favorite car in my fleet of 80+ cars is my 10t that i restored. I got it for my 16th birthday from my parents.
Re: resto 2
Did you just get that off ebay? It looks like one I almost bid on and then changed my mind cuz I was sure it would go to high. You guys gave me buggy fever.
