I used to race the chassis many years ago, and had fallen in love with its uniqueness . It had its quirks, Pencil graphite lamintaions separating, front end getting tweaked rather easily. But all together a great chassis.

Just replace them with aftermarket parts...most of the stuff used are stock parts anyway, except for the graphite bits and the pod pivots.

Trinity parts are very hard to find for their more popular cars, and close to impossible to source for some...

Hi All,

Does anyone remember if you are meant to use washers under these to bring the height of the brace up more in line with the lip of the shock tower ? (presuming that's where the alloy tab braces to?)

These came in a lot I purchased about a year ago. One is the speedworks oval and the other is the speedworks 427. They both seem like they were never used and I was thinking about using one in a build im doing most likely a truck as I am a truck...

If it matters to you, the specs are as follows...

The 427 motor is a 16X2 suited for 4WD with an RPM of 36,000.

The Dirt Oval motor is a 24X1 suited for 2WD Or 4WD with an RPM of 25,200.

I was trying to find some info on this motor...reading online, I saw an article that said this was wound as a 14/4. Assuming that's correct, did this particular motor - same label, etc, come in any other winds?
