Is There a Ranger on the Horizon???
Anyone notice the amount of Rangers there are on eBay lately? I count 3 this morning and only on the first few pages of a "vintage rc search"! I personally can only hope, because this is one of the cars I really want to be re released! Tamiya has every thing to do it and I think if they priced it like the Sand Scorcher, they will make a mint! Are my hopes just a dream?

Have been thinking exactly the same thing lately. I'd certainly buy one if released. Only a matter of time, surely?

Normally when you see a flood of original Tamiya cars on eBay it's because they announced a re release! I looked at the Tamiya site but found nothing. I'm still hoping that something is going on!

I hope they do as well. I have one sitting on my shelf that's in desperate need of a windshield.

I have wondered if they were compatible but haven't made the leap to buy a set.

The Ranger's glass is clear, not too sure about the Blackfoot's.

I'm sure it is. I bet they have a ton of SRB re-re chassis' layin around. And since they just re-released the body on the blackfoot, I'm sure it would make economical sense to them. I just wish it had the "Ford" on the hood and tailgate. I hate that fact that the re-re's have those details removed and fake decals. Here's what I don't understand... Tamiya comes out with plastic models, old and new, and they all have the original sponsored details and decals, but not for the RC models.

To make sure that the re re is exactly what it is
Not something to be pawned off to the unknowing
Collector as a original
Even if the had tons of BF body's they could
Not be used on the 150 due to the 150 markings
As far as original decals ..sponser's only last for so long
Before the agreement runs out and with the amount
Of money to tm those sponsers ...you can see why they don't
Farmer
my spelling not so good! but i can DRIVE the wheels off anything!

Re: Is There a Ranger on the Horizon???
the thing that sucks about the blackfoot 3 body is that it's riddled with body mount holes.
