My XX

Need some paint and some decals. I wish I had the jammin body for the XX..

The car looks great, can't wait to see it with paint.

I hope it is not a foolish question but is that an XXX pivot plate you are using? I am rebuilding an XX and my pivot plate has fewer holes in it. I have a CR parts car that is missing the pivot plate but it has the rear arms so I was looking at a similar plate to try a CR conversion.

That's a XX CR plate, the XXX plate is much flatter and only has one hole for the rear tower/bulkhead.

Mighty fine XX here, must admit a Jammin shell would set this off nicely. Nice to see another XX with the Jammin front brace, proper old skool, as far as the XX goes.

Are the driveshafts polished ally or steel? Either way they look cool and match the rear motor plate.

One word of warning though, you must have about 7.5 degrees of toe in per side at the rear as you are using the CR inboard toe in pivot block and original hubs which will also have toe in. You might want to get some CR hubs as these do not have any toe in.

Otherwise a great build!
