Hey fellas,
Just thought I'd pass the love .
Ran into an someone over the holiday earlier this week who had a Traxxas Bullet. Being an ol' school AE fanboy, it first looked like someone modded the crap out of an old 6-gear, until I got the body off.
I was very surprised by what I saw, I had never seen a gold pan traxxas before, or one that saw the street 3 times before setting on the shelf for the past 20+ years!
Anywho I tagged some photos with my cell for ya. From the sound of the owner, sounded like he was getting ready to auction it online.
Anyway enjoy!

Bullets were always cool. But I thought they came that way with the gold chassis? Or was it white plastic like the rest of the suspension?

nah, thats a nice example of a bone stock bullet. There wasn't much for hopups for them. Somewhere along the lines there were some rpm arms and such and I've seen some graphite chassis conversions but they didn't need much. Their downfall was the tranny/rear arm mounts and thin body lexan in my opinion. All the ones I've had or gotten had spare tranny cases with the arm mounts broke off. Otherwise they were nice oval runners.
