What is it - i am thinking T3
What is it - i am thinking T3
Well i got this off the bay for $42 including shipping. advertised as a B3 roller, i could tell by the front mounts and arms that it was a T?,
It has all T3 arms by what i can tell, looking at replacement parts
when i got it rear arm was cracked, no oil in 2 shocks, 1 cvd was a little bent, no bearing in the front wheels(they were just propped up for the shot)
and they were b4 rims, at least judging by the rear off-set , radio with no crystals, and reedy mvp 24* stock brushed motor, trans seems to operate normally without crunching and munching noises, haven't tried under power yet
Got this as an introduction into the stealth world and if it didn't pan out i would at least be able to part it out for what i paid for it

If you are like me and have no local hobby shop the thunder tiger phoenix stII is the same truck but the parts are cheaper.

But you have a nice TEAM RC10T3! Much better than the TT or MRP!

I agree but replacement parts that are the same between the two are cheaper if the have the TT label.

The plastic is a little different. Associated only sold the rights to the MOLDS for a limited run to each company, they didn't sell them the rights to their plastic blend. The plastic that TT and MRP use are a little softer than AE's which is great for bashers, but not so much for racers. That being said, the local had the TT and MRP ones and they were a blast out of the box. They handled well and were pretty quick.biff85ta wrote:slotcarrod wrote:But you have a nice TEAM RC10T3! Thunder Tiger owns Associated. I would not be surprised to find out the parts are different plastic but the trends are currently for more durable over rigidity now anyway. The thunder tiger variant makes part availability much better than say a losi XXT of the same era.

Hmmm thanks for the info
well here it is in its running condition, after all the repairs
runs really good and handles well compated to the gold pan , not that i am a set up master or anything
just made a body out of a plastic jug for now, running on my back yard mini-track
