Re: BMT Active 95R
Nice and Interesting one - it's part active (with "flat" springs in the arms, sorry, don't know the exact name for it in english) , part active 95R (coil over shocks). The 3-spd is hop-up that was kind of obsolete when the Active was released, let alone the Active 95R, and they had found out thanks to Serpent's Centax than a good clutch was worth more than a 3rd ratio and all the trouble associated with it Definitely an aftermarket radio tray too - MIP maybe (sticker?).
I had an active 95R 2wd bitd... my first gas car. Amazing I didn't quit RC by then, this was the most unforgiving car for beginners ever I still have a bag full of mounted (and likely dry) foams for it somewhere!!!
if you guys are looking for a good ref page on bmt's check this out (in french though)

Re: BMT Active 95R
rattlesnaker, If you get that thing running I would love to have a run against you with my Picco Genesis with 3 speed. Also the 3 speed was an option on the original 891 BMT
Giving old thing a new life!
