XX4
Just purchased this from a local well know racer, just awaiting it's arrival, pictures are from his for sale add. I'm looking forward to getting this one in hand and started, a clean and light restoration and onto the shelf.
You've just got to love these cars for their total performance and longevity, 15 years on and still out performing their replacement on many occasion

Re: XX4
Retro if I can think of a scheme, hopefully it's as clean as it looks when it arrives.

Re: XX4
I always thought the old Jack Johnson Jrx Pro scheme was cool. I can't find any pics of it. I just remember it was red and a couple different silvers/grays. Lot of good that does you with out pics. Sorry.

Re: XX4
Looks like a great starting point, any plans to add any special bits? I'm working on my xx4 at the mo and trying my upmost to not make it look like the WE edition!
Get some 5 spokes on there!
As for paint schemes, how about box art? No one has done that yet, and its a pretty cool scheme...

Re: XX4
Maybe when I said retro I should have said period.
I might go for an Ellis Stafford or Kevin Moore inspired paint scheme.
No special parts, I'll try to use as much of the car as possible, only replacing worn or damaged parts.jamin wrote:Looks like a great starting point, any plans to add any special bits? I'm working on my xx4 at the mo and trying my upmost to not make it look like the WE editio

Both would be way cool, my vote would be Kevin Moore...Synergy wrote: I might go for an Ellis Stafford or Kevin Moore inspired paint scheme.
But since you have the threaded shocks, you couldn't go wrong with the legend that is :-

Re: XX4
I do like the BK schemes but I'm going to save that option for my world's car, I think I'm going to use a Kevin Moore style scheme on my Pred so I'm leaning towards an Ellis Stafford scheme for this, I just need to find some photos of his 90s schemes.
