scr8p, i checked mine and all 3 of my rpm buggies are the same way with the shifted rear motor guard.
i never noticed it when putting them together, so everything fits like it should, which is kinda odd... you would assume with it that far off the motor plate aqnd tranny wouldnt line up at all. but everything goes together real nice on them, so it may just be something in the rpm design. ?
regardless, i would put it all together first before you try to re-drill and all that.

drilling chassis
On the subject of transmission holes not lining up and not wanting to drill. I have an MIP stealth tranny and the mounting holes don't line up on the graphite chassis I have (unknown maker). So my question is, does the pre-stealth RC10, stealth RC10 and the MIP stealth all have different mounting holes or what should I be looking for to determine which tranny should go on my chassis???
I only have MIP tranny's so I don't have any reference material. Sorry if this is slightly off topic.

The MIP pre-stealth trans has holes that bolt up similar to the orginal 6-gear trans. The MIP stealth has holes similar to the rc10 stealth trans as seen in the rear chassis pick that scr8p posted above. So, the screws used and spacing are different between the two MIP transmissions. However, if comparing the RC10 stealth and MIP stealth, I think the MIP stealth angles the motor plate a little more changing the mounting holes for rear motor guard to motor plate area.
