RC10 tranny family gathering here! (update)
Hi guys,
Since I'm selling the A&L Leathal Weapon, I thought it would be cool to shoot a tranny family pic for you... before they get separated...

why?
Hi mate,
Just a quick question, why are you parting with the a&l tranny?
I would have thought it'd go well in one of your many RC10's. No?
Just thought I'd ask as its been bugging me.
Cheers

Re: RC10 tranny family gathering here! (update)
Old thread revival here. Since I bought an awesome Team Pit Stop chain drive from ram902 lately, thought I would add some new tranny family pictures here and share them with you guys. I totally cleaned and rebuild it. The chain drive tranny is in really good shape and even has an early slipper thing on it. It works with inserting some rubbers into the holes of the spurgear where the diff balls sit normally. I already received a partial and smashed Team Pit Stop in a lot, but that one didn't have any slipper system. Until I had this one in my hands, I always thought these were crap, but they're just very nice built and the diff is ultra smooth. Parts are very well machined and the general conception is really great. Gotta love those! So, can anyone let me know if that slipper thing was an option back then for the Team Pit Stop made by themselves or by another aftermarket company? Thanks in advance for any reply, enjoy

Mmmm, I think the slipper setup is Traxxas related... Nice lineup.

Re: RC10 tranny family gathering here! (update)
what is confusing is that there is a different top shaft on this one compared to the stock one which has no place to fit the slipper, I'm still looking for some more info on this one

Re: RC10 tranny family gathering here! (update)
Looks like somewhat the same system, but none of the Traxxas parts really look like those on the TPS slipper. I now think it was actually made by TPS since the top shaft is specific to fit the slipper. But that's just my 2 cents, I never had the chance to race on of those back in the good ol' days, so I would like to have the opinion of someone who did, anyone??

Nice find. I just found some TPS decals in my tool box. I didn't realize they made transmission stuff. It took a while for the light bulb to turn on.
