Anyone have confirmed date for delivery or pick up at the LHS?

I agree, bearings are a must everywhere.

I am going to start picking up parts and such, I have not inquired as to when they arrive for sale.

I just got back from my LHS and forgot to ask when the kit might be in.

I picked up some trail truck parts and new brushless boat. (Nothing I needed that's for sure)

It's the prototype Reedy competition ESC. It's definitely not the same as the RTR XP Digital one.

I bet the change to the transmission is that the gears no longer have burrs.
Having spent about 9 hours making the gears mesh properly in my all steel 6 gear, I can appreciate that!
. . . you have Associated Green Slime for brains. And not even new Green Slime, but old gooped out Green Slime.

Am I right to assume that standard bore rear springs will work for the rear shocks? Will there be different springs released for the shorter front shocks?

Sort of Joey. If the springs are (for example silver, gold or green), they're 1 3/8" long. Technically, the modern (black, brown, silver etc etc) .89 front springs are probably closer 1 3/4" long.

And kipps hobbies http://www.kippshobbies.com/ still make good short shock springs to give some tuning abilities to the 0.56 (and 0.71) shocks. He has 2 to 6 lb, 1-1/4" springs, which are lighter than most touring car type shock springs of that size (which are way too stiff for an RC10).

I'm liking the Tekin RS I recently picked up, but been eyeballing the Speed Passion Revention stuff....17.5 motor, havent worked out gearing quite yet, but something to put me near the 5.2~5.4 FDR.
