Yup I saw that problem coming up as I was pulling off the stock silver springs...but I had already scored the black ones and they were just not glossy. I thought about glossing them up maybe with some clear. And maybe the wheels too for some contrast...but the truth is ..its a runner...and I foresaw it getting beaten. It was def. no walk in the park or just paint bombed...it took a bit. The surface is rough which is what I was aiming for ....the phtoo lighting is hard to get right on it to see some of where it does have some contrast. The kids really took to it.....I was hellbent from the beginning on a flat black look. I do agree with you tho...id like to see if maybe glossy wheels glossing the shocks and the wing tabs might help bring in some contrast....but for now she's got dirt ripping duties!! And those shocks easy adjustment and less prone to breakage came in mighty handy right off the bat. I never ran those before. These are with several laps already on it.

great info .. im glad your running it .. whats your gearing for that motor and size of the track
i might head that way with mine as soon as i see the diffrence between the 2 set ups
with all my racing bodys i painted the nose a brite colour to help with getting the nose deep into the coners
has anyone did a sticker bomb one yet ?

87 tooth b4c gear with 19th pinion. It seems perfect for intro into brushless....took a bit to adjust the losi diff...and then get the external slipper just right turns into a preference thing. I run the losi diff fairly tight as recommended by losi..and the slipper enuff to hear it squeel just a bit off the line. backyard track is about 60 ft wide by 40ft. brushless hobby esc LT4 120 amp can tweak mod your motor...i turned up the timing some recently might affect my battery run time.
I may see what 23 pinion runs like...
What do u mean by sticker bomb? those flat sticker they put on cars?
