Re: Comm Sticks
I thought this was pretty cool, kind of similar to that old motor maniac hand lathe...

Thanks!
When you get access to the BST, I have listed mine for sale in there. $3 a pop for the Edge ones, and $5 for the Racer's Edge one.

Re: Comm Sticks
i just freshend up a motor today with a com stick .. i use to cut strips of 1000 grit sandpaper to fit in the brush hole .. loop it around the armature and back out the same brush hole and spin the motor with a drill to freshen them up .. if the armature was groved i would start with 600, 800, then 1000 for finish

Re: Comm Sticks
Gool ol comm sticks, surely they are still made, or at least tons are still floating around somewhere. I never did use the hard red ones and rarely used the blue medium one. The green polishing one always seemed to get the workout.
A cheap alternative is to buy a train track cleaning eraser and cut it into brush sized strips.
