Your cars are going to look great together in the cabinet, especially as your collection follows a continuous theme & most are finished off with shells with your own matching 'team' paint schemes
I think the fact that it is an Oakley cabinet adds to the cool factor - I remember Oakley sunglasses being the 'big' thing for RC racers during the 90s with Oakley sponsoring the likes of Brian Kinwald & I think Cliff Lett... Ben you've also got to get a pair of old-skool 'M' Frames in there!
Cheers Dan! My wife think it looks pretty cool, just not sure that she'll like the idea of them being in the living room though.
M frames or maybe some Razor Blades!!?? I have seen some on ebay!
If you've got a large collection. I've seen some nice china cabinets that can work on these cars. depending if it has any built in lighting, just add a few extra lights and you've got a nice display case XD.
It looks cool with the lights on! Just worried that it might fade the paint though over time - what do you think?
Yeah, he was straight in there, in fact he's been in there a few times!
Oh yes, you guessed it right! Super excited about it too - I want to make a start on it now the evenings are drawing in, but I need to finish decorating the bathroom first
That case is neat as can be jamin! Not a fanboy or anything, but I've always used Oakley sunglasses. Best fit and best lenses for the price. Just look here> These fit so well!
Very cool Ben! Not sure i could persuade my missus to stick that in the living room! Looks great in my opinion, love it with the oakley signage too. Perfect size!

We just put it there to try it, its being moved shortly to a 'quieter' corner so its a little more tucked away - we dont have many choices where it can go, kinda underestimated the size of the damn thing! Oh, and the signage actually lights up
Does anyone happen to have a pic of the r/c display case from Toys R Us circa 87-88? I'm shocked that I couldn't easily find something on Google. I tried several different searches. I used to drool over it before I knew of true hobby grade cars.

Well, as my hunt continues I did find this ad with the Shinsei Cheetah I had. Looking for one of those now also just for nostalgia. I remember picking it because it had the pistol radio.
I had the 57. Got it for Christmas of 87.... I think....
Probably more like a parking lot with the amount of Losi's I have/have owned over the years. I'll update this further later, but in the mean time I wanted to show off one of my latest rides (the other being a 22T, still in the box) that I received...

Here's my latest project, a Street Weapon IWC edition:
I bowed to the peer pressure earlier this week from fellow members here, but actually it makes sense as then I will have a XX,XXT and a XX4.
If anyone has NIP trinity items for this car then please...

That body looks incredible! Did you paint it yourself? Really nice job.
Thanks! I've done a couple, but I'm not good enough to do this kinda work lol. I've been having a local guy do my bodies.
I won this on ebay last week and it arrived today. To say I am happy would be an understatment! The previous owner only used it a couple of times and even then it was on carpet. The photos don't do it justice, buts its MINT! Even the chassis looks...

I've been fortunate enough recently to of found (well by my friend in the states) a brand new in the box Losi XXT! Before this was found I purchased a couple of rollers from other people in states, and accrued some new parts where I could in the...

Very cool they used your picture. Your truck and paint is likely nicer than theirs. 😎
Your XXT and other and other build threads is what really got me to fall in love with the XX series. I've studied all of your threads and pictures more than I...
Well here it is, well most of the parts anyway. This haul has taken me quite a few months so far, notably the BNIP chassis which I am so happy to have found as that was the decider in me doing the build. This truck is gonna be a Graphite+, but with...

I like that a lot. I did something similar years ago with a few of them. I did the wire very discreet. I backed out 2 of the rear screws that held gearbox to chassis and if can imagine then ran music wire spiral around each screw a few times and...
