Today the last piece of the puzzle came in so now I can start my RC10T build. It's going to be rainy this weekend so what better time than to do a build. Here is my collection of parts so far. There are a few small odds and ends I will need to scab from my used RC10T

I don't have a set of tecnacrafts for the RC10. I was considering milling a pair of the rears to work on an rc10 axle. I have bought a bunch of wheels from JPS and in talking with the owner, he mentioned he had RC10T wheels in diamond spoke.

do you have the white shock parts? if not, then i'd do the chassis parts black.
I don't have them in black. in fact I stole them out of a RPM chassis kit. I guess I would be better off to buy the arms in black and then sell off the chassis kit.
I was going to cut this chassis up to make a stealth 1991 replica but I am sure I would have been given a lot of shite for that since this is a pretty rare chassis and its also never been ran... ok so anyways, I hope Jim takes this as a compliment,...

I have two standoffs plus two steering posts in case anyone is interested. They are brand-spanking new but not in the package.
Excellent, i could really use the two stand offs because this truck only has 4... it needs 6 and the front two i am...
I got this kit a few weeks ago. The build was straightforward and took just a few hours. A lot of the tedious stuff like the axles and transmission was already built.
The Mojave body is very similar to a Tamiya Hilux and it allows for lighting,...

No clue how much wattage its pumping out. However they are loud enough to make my neighbor come out to see why a semi truck kept driving up and down our block when i was running my knight hauler.
I wanted to make this better than just your standard slap together by using some parts that are vintage and other parts that are currently available. I've been collecting things here and there. A set of Dhawk aluminum parts including the...

6 years for an update.
Why did you ditch the Race Master bearing adapters in the tranny?
I stole those to use on my sprint car with a Rogue Elements gear case
I bought the HPI mini RS4 sport way back in 2003 so it has been a very long term project. It was missing the entire steering system, body mounts and a shock so it languished in a box for years
I've been on the hunt for a tube chassis for years. I've missed out on a few in the past so when Spanky posted some of the chassis he made, I took the bait. I bought his #2 chassis and it came in the mail today and I'm happy.

This is so killer! I've always wanted a tube sand rail since I saw that one in RC action that had the cooler and cup holders!!! That's was the 90s!
I saw that these were on sale at RC4WD and I wanted to grab one before they were gone. The shots below are using my existing jeep body. I have an entirely new body I want to use for this project. I plan to mod the body a little bit like getting rid...

Your Jeep looks fantastic! :D
The only thing that gave it away (at first glance) was the bumper holes in the rear corners.
RC Channel makes some great looking parts.
It almost looks real!
*Personally, I kind of dug the wheel studs & scale lug...
Here are some pics of what I will be using in this build

sweet car sho!! I have a question in regards to the hydra drive slipper. Is it anything special? I am just asking because I got a jrx2 roller a while back and it had one on it. And I have never seen one before. thanks
What's up guys. So I recently dug out my RC10T #7011.I don't know a lot about the truck being that I haven't played with it since it was new 25 years ago. It's in pretty decent condition. Has some light scratches on the front arms, front bumper and...
