My First Goldpan... Ideas?

Here's my first goldpan and next project. Just looking for ideas for the build. First I'd like to identify this guy's pedigree. It has an A stamp on the bottom. I'm not super famililar with these as far as all the edinger, Cadillac, etc, so any help would be great! I'm intrigued by Chad's (dynotech) last post about the new tranny he's gonna be making, and also all the jconcepts stuff for the re-re. I'm thinking retro-racer...

That's a Cadillac. It's interesting that the A stamp is so deep.
If the electronics are good, maybe you should clean it up, add a receiver, and make it a light runner.
