Adams rere OIN Frankenbuild

Post by abailey21 »

So I finally have just about everything together to finish and start my runner build.

here's where i'm sitting so far

ImageImageImage

Andy's arms F/R
B4 Shocks
rere chassis
RC Carbon shock towers F/R
Stealth tranny
Some alloy steering and front end blocks that I bought off here a while ago

I have B4 front end parts and rear carriers, I just ordered a screw kit from Tony's

I started with Dynotech rear arms and I had MIP CVD's for them but now I want to use the Andy's arms and the CVD's are too long. Which CVD's should I be using?

Sorry about the pics I used my ipad and not my good camera

Standard rc10 or b2 b3 cvds work with andys arms but unsure with b4 rear hubs. I have andys arms on my graphite with 1an half degree t2 rear hubs or 10t 0 an 3 degree hubs

I think the formula is B44 rear cvas when using stock geometry arms and B4 hubs. Which wheels you want to use determines which rear hubs you want to use. Modern offset wheels = B4 hubs, and B44 cvas. Old school dished wheels = og hubs (or equivalent) and the B3 cvd.

I thought thats what I bought (B44 CVD's) of course I didn't keep the header card or write down what I used.

I might just have to go back to the Klein arms in the rear but I can't find fronts **I haven't exactly looked either**

Here's some pics of a little progress;

I'm not going to use the new screws until final assembly and I still need a rere rear bulkhead cause mines stripped and I'll need to dye the white to back to match everything but this is the closest I've been in 3 years to finishing this!
