Don't know if this is the right place...
My son has a B4 RTR that came with brushed and NiMH batteries. I would like to upgrade but not sure what would be best. Is there a combo pack out there that would work??

What are you hoping to achieve with the car? Will it be raced or is it just to run around with?

I think a Hobbywing EZRun 35 amp esc and 13T motor would be a good setup for you then. It's about $75 shipped and comes with a programming card as well.
Here's a review of it--

If you're after a little more speed they also have the combo with a 9T motor.

Agree with CA-RJ. Hobbywing really can't be beat for the money. That also applies to some of their rebadges, too. Some Beeman, Bullistorm and Turnigy stuff is Hobbywing. Beware, though, that some of the rebadges rate at the max burst capability, rather than continuous. I have seen a few 35A Hobbywing ESC rebadges being sold as 60A ESCs; that is their max burst current.
If you shop around and buy components individually, you may be able to score a 60A EZrun ESC, program card and motor for about the same $75-$80 as the 35A combo. That would allow you more margin with gearing and tires, and to run 3S with moderate gearing.
Here's one:

No program card with it, but they're only $10.
