That looks sweet. Can't wait to get my detonator painted up and get the rest of th JC goodies. Those turnbuckles look like some JC gear. Will those be available?
I asked Jason about turnbuckles. I was told that they are not currently on the drawing board. At this point there is one more accessory on the short list and after that everything will be dependent on what happens with the RC10 and demand. If AE releases a more readily available version of the car and classes started popping up at tracks around the world, demand for more accessories would support additional items.
There's been plenty of speculation but nobody knows for sure. We could all argue strongly for it. I'm sure the AE bean counters could find points to argue just as strongly against it. 2014 is the 30th anniversary and they just retooled the entire car. Seems silly to do all that for a limited production run, especially when it sold out so quickly. The demand for kits is there. Is AE listening?
I talked with Cliff Lett at the AE warehouse sale last month and he said more was coming. He wouldn't expand on what the "more" was but when I mentioned the 2.25 Stealth transmission kit he smiled.
RC10 Short Arm | Novak Tempest ESC | Tamiya Torque Tuned 25T | Savox 1258 | Stealth Trans w/ Exotek Slipper Eliminator (geared 24/81)
RC10B3 | HW Just Stock Club Spec | Reedy 13.5 | Savox 1258
There will be an exhibition class at Reedy for the classic. With the top guys having and promoting the car (you know, the one they aren't making anymore) you have to wonder why a class and promotion. All that's missing is white wide front arms, .71 front shocks and a stealth transmission. My personal opinion, just be patient. Good things come to those who wait.....
