Hello from Michigan
Hello everyone, I actually found this forum googling things like Scorpion & Tomahawk. I recently dug out my old RC car (I never knew what it was) I just kept it because I thought it looked awesome being mostly aluminum. I have had this car for over 20 years and never had a clue (until recently) what it was. After looking through some online manuals, I believe it is a Kyosho Tomahawk. Since the car is 90% there I decided to go ahead with a restoration, but I am seeking help. Parts are not easy to find and I don't know what "Alternatives" I can use. After seeing some of the vintage cars here, I am just speechless...truly amazing buggy's! I look forward to chatting about these vintage cars with others that have a passion for them as well as I do.

Welcome! Yes, please post pictures. There are some Kyosho fans here, whether they admit it or not.
. . . you have Associated Green Slime for brains. And not even new Green Slime, but old gooped out Green Slime.

Re: Hello from Michigan
Thank you all for the warm welcome. Yeah, I can already see this will become costly....if you can even find the parts, LoL. This will (no doubt) be a shelf queen. I ran a Kyosho Raider back in the mid 90's (A hand me down) and the LHS usually carried 3 yo and newer parts and so I had to order parts every time! I will post some pics soon in the Kyosho forums, Thanks guys

Alright, I'm right down the road from you. I prefer the term "Mid-Coasters"
