YZ10 Works Projects
Figured I'd make one post here rather than three. My current YZ10 projects include a '91 Works, a '93 Works, and a "hybrid" Works. All need rebuilding/restoration. The '91 will get a "faithful" rebuild, while the '93 will be a runner. The "hybrid" came with all sorts of interesting parts, including '92 towers, so I will try to turn it into a '92 Works with a few swizzles.
The first part in doing all of this will require me to get some parts reproduced. I originally just wanted to repro some '93 Works towers, but then I figured, why not get all of these parts reproduced? Pictures below are what I will be sending to Stephen over at Fibre-Lyte.
'91/'92 upper and lower deck
Works lower rear chassis braces
'91, '92, and '93 front and rear shock towers
My expectation is that the repro parts will be available for anyone to purchase from them once they're done. More pics as these projects move along...

Re: YZ10 Works Projects
Hey great thread and just what i wanted to hear! I will definately be interested in some of this especially the towers. I got some off fiber lyte that i think were labelled as works 93 but i think the were more wcs 93. Anyway great to see yoir getting all this done. I assume you will update this thread when they are ready to go? Would be greatly appreciated.

Re: YZ10 Works Projects
Yes, I will update as this project (actually, three projects) moves along. I was going to ship these out today, but could not make it to the post office before they closed. So I will have to ship these out next week (hopefully Monday).

Re: YZ10 Works Projects
That part may have to wait. I only have so much money
I did also get an offer from someone in the U.S. to repro these parts. I will ship to him after I get this stuff back from Fibre-Lyte. I can add that brace to the list then.

Re: YZ10 Works Projects
Progress has been slower than expected, but it is moving along. At least as of last week, Stephen over at Fibre-Lyte said that he would draw the parts out this weekend. I have not yet gotten a quote, but I am hoping that everything will be settled within the next week or two.
In the meantime, I have acquired two more Works models. So I will have four rollers total that I am working on for this thread, plus a NIB '93 Works that should show up on Monday I'll try to have some pictures soon...

Re: YZ10 Works Projects
In total, I have three '93 Works. Two of them I got off of eBay and one of them (the NIB kit) was off of Craigslist.
3-4 months is a bit long to get b/s/t access. It didn't take me that long. You may want to send a reminder to whichever moderator you asked the first time.

Re: YZ10 Works Projects
I will not build the NIB 93 Works. I already have two rollers, one of which is a shelfer and one is/will be a runner.
To your other question, yes, it was expensive, but I think it was a good deal in terms of what I think it is worth. The same seller has a bunch of other Works parts that he wants to offload. I'll post pics of those after I purchase them.

Re: YZ10 Works Projects
So here is the NIB '93 Works. Not building this one. Just wanted to show it off
Once I get parts back from Fibre-Lyte, I'll start posting pics of the rest of the Works fleet.

Re: YZ10 Works Projects
I was wondering if Fiberlyte was going to offer these. I need a chassis, upperdeck, and shock towers for my works 93. This may make it so that I actually build mine sooner rather than later. I have been meaning to draw up the parts but things got in the way.
