Yr-f2 special
Re: Yr-f2 special
Be 190mm buddy
Back then, it was all very BTCC with bodies, so Alfa's, Primera, Mondeo and im sure Schumacher had a Peugeot doing the rounds, could have been on the first SST model? My memory really starts to go of late, its been maybe 15 years since i was doing all that lol!

Re: Yr-f2 special
Those will be Tamiya Nismo Clarion GT-Rs, bodyshell part number is 50682, but they are usually pretty expensive. The sticker set is easy to find and cheap, and Tamiya used the R33 Skyline shell for the Kure Nismo, part no 50707, or Loctite Nissan Skyline, 50662, as well which should be cheaper to replicate than the proper body set. There's also an R33 body made by Pandora for drift cars, it's a road car with stretched wheel arches for drifters, but it is the correct Skyline.naushad wrote:Right, I might be making a move on this one soon but just need someone to identify the bodies shown on the box pic.
Thanks

Re: Yr-f2 special
Yeah, the Clarion shell is the popular one. Unlike R32 and R34 shells Tamiya only made 3 kits with the R33 over a very short period of time, so spare bodies are pretty rare. The Kure Nismo shell is the worst looking so can be found cheaper, and the Clarion stickers for £10-15.naushad wrote: The price...

Does anyone still have any spare parts for this Yokomo YR-F2 available? Or can help point me to somewhere who may have some? Thanks.

Re: Yr-f2 special
Interesting, your F2 Special has a blue motor mount and spur holder. Mine came with plain aluminium versions.

Regret selling a yrf2 special. 14 years ago the shop had tons and tons on the shelf. was blowing them out for well under 100. i think mine was 50 bucks NIB from the owner. (for the carbon special).
