how many companies are actually manufacturing brushless motors, and which ones are just re-badged?
many look so similar, they can't all be making their own in-house.

only ones "manufacturing" are (by my estimation) Novak and Castle... possibly LRP too. Everyone else is OEM'ing from Taiwan.

I think you will find these guys here http://www.speedpassion.net/ make the majority of brushless motors, which other companies relabel.

Fiegao have been around a long time in the brushless RC plane world and make good products.

Sorry dude.
:( :( :( :( :(

Although the D4 is based upon the BJ4, it has had a lot of development recently - unlike the BJ4.

Nosram was a big name in the past in the UK, and I'm glad that LRP brought the name back

I think I'll run Orion motors though, not Peaks

I'm back! I was 'Northy' but my profile got screwed :(
