Hello from Charlotte

Hello RC10Talk. My name is Robert and I live in Charlotte, NC. I have popped onto this forum a few times lurking around project threads but I just signed up yesterday since I am joining your ranks. I am in the process of trading to receive one complete and 2/3 of an RC10, both short arm 6 gear tranny units. I don't know what stamping they are since the guy I'm trading with didn't know much about them. Once I receive the cars and do some cleanup I will start a build thread to ask questions and post progress. I haven't decided if I'm going to go purist or some sort of resto-mod. Since I'm getting almost two cars the opportunity is there to do two different projects, possibly one shelfer and one runner. I've wanted an old-school RC10 for a while now and a few 6-gears should be a good way to get in. I just got into buggies this year, picking up a B4.1 over the winter that I'm currently racing in the 2wd mod class.
