Did MIP do black Ano'd shock bodies for AE like it did for Losi?
That's one awesome build here what an amazing stash of NIB rare parts

Thanks Paul. Yes MIP made ano'd shocks for Associated. Loved the look and smooth action of these once built. There's some other amazing builds on here using those shocks. If anyone would like to donate a #AS-40 kit for this build, please chime in

If things seem under control, you are just not going fast enough.
Got the chassis completed. I wasn't going to fit it with electrics but it looked bare without them. Went with a Novak T-4, Futaba S9304 steering servo and a Reedy modified motor. The SP-1 transmission turned out great after some minor adjustments with the torque control. I'm digging the sound of the all metal gear transmission and how smooth it is. Body will be a new Andy's Heathen unless I find another alternative.

I found a set of new Houge trailing arms in my parts box. Do I need a special chassis or will a conventional chassis drilled properly work (like a gold or black tub)?

i have a nearly new houge trailing arm chassis, black graphite, never ran, but car was mounted to it. if you are interested in it, let me know and ill take pics
I started fabricating a carbon fiber chassis for use with a pair of Houge trailing arms. I found that the placement of the trailing arms on the chassis vary depending on the length of the rear shocks. Otherwise, there are length issues with the...

Doug - never mind about the chassis... I eneded up fabbing my own:
This is what I meant to show you with respect to the rear shock placement. As you can see, dues to where I mounted the shock on the trailing arm, I mounted the shocks on the rear...
Found an old Houge car in a box i thought was long gone. All of the suspension is still there with Andy's front arms and a six gear tranny. I remember trading a 1/12th scale car for it and only running it a couple times.
Any members experienced with...

rc10eh had one ... dont know if he has any parts anymore
Hey guys, here’s another project I’m working on. It started one night when I was going through a bin of parts and decided that some of these “fun bits” should come together on one car. Some Houge, Andy’s, RPM, Litespeed, custom powder coated parts,...

This is as far as I’m taking this project but I think it turned out pretty cool this far. I sold it to another member and I look forward to seeing how he finishes it off.
Finally getting around to building this project. This is a buggy I have been wanting to build for awhile but other projects kept getting in the way. Base for this project is a nip A&L trailing arm conversion/ fiberglass chassis kit. I had a new...
I’ve been wanting to build an RC10 trailing arm conversion runner for years as I’ve never actually driven one. I came close once with an A&L build, but when it was done, I just couldn’t bring myself to run an actual vintage chassis. When I saw that...

I thought I'd post up these pics also, just in case someone finds them helpful. I tried all sorts of rear mounts for the Andy's Renegade body. The best solution I could come up with to deal with the angles on the rear of that body was a single...
