Purple Haze
Purple Haze
Ok, well my father's favorite color was purple and when I got a hold of these chassis I really thought it was a rare find and wanted to build something special to honor him. The body is from a new Traxxas Bandit, and the car is basically all done now minus the wing... I should have keep the Technacraft! JUST KIDDING, I have a regular wing for it and am just looking for my purple aluminum Trinity Wing mounts... which were here when I started
The only other part I would like to eventually find is the left side RPM bellcrank. I had 2 NIP sealed bags from RPM (one of which Kenooze has now) and the other I kept for this. Well wouldn't you know the bag I kept came with two right side bellcranks. So... I am looing for a new or mint left side to trade or purchase. If you need a brand new right side, I have one of those
Thanks for looking

Gotta love an RPM tub! not sure about those shock piggy backs.. I think they look a bit weird, but different!
Re: Purple Haze
I have nice set of purple shock caps and couldn't decide which to use. I had a hard time deciding which way the piggy back shocks should face also. I have so many projects, sometimes you just have to say, "its good enough."hkp wrote:Gotta love an RPM tub! not sure about those shock piggy backs.. I think they look a bit weird, but different!
If you don't, you may never get to the next project.

Re: Purple Haze
Get some paint on that body and take more pics
I was wondering how the Bandit body would look on a REAL car.

Re: Purple Haze
The car looks great. Have you painted the body yet? Wondering how it will look- very cool. I was also wondering what you are running for the tranny, spur gear, and gear cover?? Is that coming off a standard stealth tranny? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Purple Haze
You have taken an ugly tub and made it look beautiful...Well done, sir.
He's an idiot. Comes from upbringing. His parents are probably idiots too.
Re: Purple Haze
it is the losi hydra drive. Losi made it to fit the rc10 stealth as an option. the gear cover is made by losi also to fit the stealth.philk wrote:The car looks great. Have you painted the body yet?
