B2 wheel question

Somewhere buried here (can't find it now), I read a thread that stated the early original front B2 one-piece yellow wheels had 8 fins in the back of the wheel, and later ones had only 6. Is this true for the rear wheels as well? So far, I have only seen the rears with 6 fins...

Sweet. I thought I had the original wheels for my B2 (my fronts are 8-fin, rear are 6), but I wanted to be sure. Nice...one more thing I don't have to purchase.

Will the LX-T wheels fit an RC10T? The box-art on my Dudgeon/A-Main nitro conversion shows the truck fitted with them, but I thought Losi used bearings in the front carriers, not the wheels. Am I thinking of the XX-T?

Any help appreciated! :D...

With the re-re scorpion making the older smaller wheels freely available, I was thinking about using some on an ultima for an old school look. I ordered up the wheels, and the dirive hubs, but it looks like I may have to get longer axles too. But...

Scorpion rear wheels are 1.5 diameter, same as Tamiyas Sand Scorcher/Frog/Grasshopper rear wheels so any alternatives for them will fit the Scorpion wheels.

Rather than buying new axles, use barrel nuts to attach the wheels. They are a standard...

I finally took the plunge and bought a set I have to agree they are very nice, except for the fitment issues. I too used a flange brass bushings.

I always wonder if they would fit, 2mm thinner hexes would have been perfect.

Apologies, the wheels I bought are the same diameter, it's just that the rears don't stick out as much as the white dished ones!

They still look good though!

I'm not very knowledgable on these Yokomos :oops:

I know the make 12mm hex adaptors for the frog but what about spacers? im wanting to use 2.8 wheels and with the wheel adaptors the tires will still hit the motor. Does anybody know away around the spacing issue or am i up a creek without a paddle?

Hi KidAgain, I got those measurements for you.

Front & rear wheels are both 1-7/8 diameter. Rear wheel width is almost the same, maybe a touch over 1-7/8 . Front wheel width is about 1 . Hope this helps!
