Team Associated RC10T2 - Not much to say here, other than it's brand new. I added a few upgrades such as titanium tierods, and Ti shockshafts. Midnight motor is brand new.

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - July 2015 ** - Winner - scr8p
Well looking at what's been posted so far, I think it's safe to say I'll be able to try next month. Anyways here is my entry. It's an A stamp that was beat up and trimmed in the rear (nothing for the motor mount to bolt to) so I was planning doing a oval car out of it. I had also had a CRP truck conversion body mount kit when I was able to locate a complete set of rims. I had the Litesink motor mount for this chassis since the factory mount is of little use. Decided to put it all together and run with it. Always like the light blue color on GM trucks so that's the color I went with, even went so far as to paint a scrap chunk of lexan and took it to a local paint supply shop and got some paint mixed up for the chassis, it matches about perfect. Added the Novak ESC and receiver with a Reedy Mr Outlaw motor. Noticed too much space between the body and chassis so I used a junk Viper body (NOOB mistake of making front mount hole in the wrong place) to fill it in and protect the electronics. Just need to finish up by adding the steering servo and do the front alignment (too much toe out right now). Hope you like.

My version of the NIX91 car. Purple AE V2 shocks, JConcepts motor mount, custom painted Masami-ish tribute body, custom all inline electronics - and yes, it has been raced
track proven.

Some great builds posted so far. I don't think David should be allowed to enter that build into contests, it's not fair lol.

Thanks, I will appreciate that, and I'm sure the others will too. In that case I'd have to dedicate my build to Atlas (gold parts), Lohas (wheels) and Fibre Lyte for all of the carbon parts, with exception of the chassis...I think my point is that the hunter gatherer in us is a huge part of these build offs, so you need to give yourself some credit too.Asso_man! wrote:vintage AE wrote:Some great builds posted so far. I was only the hunter and the builder
Then you got Joey, who adds his intuition and customization into it, and city.life with his custom work, showman24v with his super clean T2. You just don't know what competition brings each month and what people are digging. We certainly are able to bring all aspects to the table each time though.
