Early RC10B2 #9000
Picked up a partialy new built #9000 B2 early this year that was about 65% complete. Some of the hard to find parts were present but the other 35% seemed to be hard to locate. I've had older projects than this that were a lot easier to complete. Decided to try and replicate the instruction manual pictures as far as electronics and set up. Grueling task as far as locating things was the Reedy cells, LRP esc, and decent condition Sonic motor. Never did find a Airtronics 94155 servo so the futaba that is in it will do for now. Very fun build that definitely tested my patients Would like to find an original B2 body if I can. I'll post more on that in another 6 months when I find one Hope you enjoy.
If things seem under control, you are just not going fast enough.

Looks amazing!
I know how hard it is to find the parts. I myself is a big fan of the B2's.
There is a repo B2 Team body from UK on the bay. Do not know how quality is though.

Re: Early RC10B2 #9000
Finding parts must be a pain, I've never seen any on the pegs. Getting RC10 parts, even before the re-re thing, was always decent enough because they made a jillion of them in all the various designes well into the 90's, and the parts supply for my B4 is dwindeling. The B2 must be hard, like ebay only hard. No?
I did like the looks of the B2 and B3 better than my B4, due to the split front shock tower and more realistic style body.

Found out the hard way...a few of the original B2 parts are very hard to find...like a miracle when they even show up on eBay...
Someday I might get mine completed...

Re: Early RC10B2 #9000
I've long been tempted by the B2 (...because it's very similar to the Losi XX) but there doesn't appear to be too many about and parts are few and far between, and/or very expensive. Take this for example....
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VINTAGE-TEAM-ASSOCIATED-RC10B2-RC10B3-BUGGY-SHORT-CARBON-FIBER-CHASSIS-RARE-9202-/181681452298?hash=item2a4d0ef50a:m:mwbT_S5n7SSBca8Xhp3jzwg
So why is this???? Is it to do with a short production run??

Some B2 parts are quite pricey, but that one is nuts. The same part is $36 on Sabula...

Re: Early RC10B2 #9000
Probably due to the short productio run, yes... I think only for one year¿
I think a nice b2 is actually rarer than a very nice rc10

Re: Early RC10B2 #9000
