I'm taking the shields off of the cheaper bearing transmission. I'm not going to mess with the transmission that has the ABEC 7 bearings. I'm using a pointy X-acto knife. It's not easy getting those shields off those small bearings. Hop I don't lose any fingers!

Just catch the end of the retaining ring and rotate it out. Once you do a few it gets way easier.
I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.

This could be a cool competition. We'd have to setup some ground rules on how to spin, but would be cool to compare with Losi LRM, Stealth, MIP, etc...
