schumacher bosscat ran in the 90's worlds???

Post by hugger19 »

just got this one from peakey. here is a little info from him:
Here for sale is a prototype asymmetric Bosscat chassis that would possibly have been run by a team driver in the mid 90's, before they made the carbon ones.
It's been through scrutineering at an event as it has the nail varnish mark to say it's been checked.
Hi Mike
I got the chassis from a guy in Norway I think it was he got it in a job lot he bought. I was trying to find any info on it but the only thing I know it's it will of been cut as a proto from G10 by Schumacher to save the bits in the CNC before using carbon.
I'm then assuming it was run by a team driver at the euros just because it came from Europe and has the nail vanish to say it's been checked and they only do that at big events. Other than that it's all I know.

if anyone has any info/pics of this chassis please add to this thread. thanks. would love to build this one! i did find some info on the asymmetric Bosscat chassis. looks like that style was a "team" chassis design. http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=8000#p75898

well i have no proof that this chassis is anything special, but its all done. just waiting on a chassis protector, going to leave it with no body.
