Can this be done without ruining the Parts?

i washed paint off of white parts with lacquer thinner without any issues.

I ususally just use an xacto knife and lightly scratch/scrape it off. Its also a good way to remove small surface stains.

I've used acetone with success.
Old school racing all the way!

Wow you can use laquer thinner? you shoulda told me i got tanks of that stuff. Well someone suggested break fluid, and it worked pretty well, had to scrape off some of the bottom 2 layers of loose paint, top 2 came off by soaking. I purposely bought break fluid for this project, but now i will try laquer thinner.
