Reproduction Tires from Marwan

Got these in today. AAAHHHH, I love that new tire smell. These are the reproduction Kyosho OT-66 and Kyosho OT-30 tires from Marwan. They are very nice. His reputation for quality around here is well deserved. The OT-66's are very nice. The Kyosho label is not on them so that makes it easy to tell them from the originals. One thing I thought was odd is that they are about 2 mm narrower than an original. I thought maybe it was just the bulge of the sidewalls of the originals, but according to my calipers, the tread pattern is 2mm narrower. Not a big dea,l but if you put them side by side like in the pick below, it is noticeable. Overall they are a great looking set of tires that I will be more than happy to install on my Turbo Optima Mid SE. The OT-30's are amazing. They have always been my favorite Kyosho tire with their tall spikes looking like some kind of gladiator weapon. These reproductions are identical as near as I can tell. I've been staring at them side by side for a few minutes comparing every little detail and I can find no difference. Both sets of tires are a nice medium compound that feels like the same as the originals to me. These tires are fantastic quality, and the fact that they were as reasonably priced as they were, makes them a no-brainer for someone looking for these hard to find tires, in my opinion.

Those look killer. Marwan is pretty amazing. They also look taller than the originals.

I have bought a lot of stuff from this man over the years and never been disappointed. His tires, stickers and other stuff is first rate. A lot of my older buggies wear his rubber and look great, I thank you Marwan!
