Yep, had the problem with those front & rear screws too. About the only bit I used to properly break was the front suspension plate (moulding front wishbone pivots go through). Schumacher updated it over the years (there are at least three different versions) and it eventually got a FRP strap to reinforce it when the Nitro cars were released. Apart from those bits, the Cougar was bombproof. The chassis wasn't a real problem as you could always bend it back by hand....nice cheap fix
