Hitch in my Stealth
I just rebuilt my stealth transmission with new bearings and a t4 top shaft and fresh grease. I figured it would be nice and smooth, but now it has a nice hitch in it. This is when I have it screwed to the motor plate, but no clutch on it. I'll be tearing it down again to check, but I'm looking for suggestions. I used old ring and balls but sanded down the rings with 1000 grit... I wonder if I had a flat surface somewhere?

Re: Hitch in my Stealth
Turns out it was some grit stuck in the root of a few of the teeth... I tried the top gear and it was about the same. Looked at the idler gear and it still had junk in it. Apparently I didn't clean it as well I thought I did...

Re: Hitch in my Stealth
Any tips on cleaning the gears? I was think tooth brush, but that might not be enough.
