one of these? a 7 cell fiberglass battery hold down. i can't say i have. but i got one now. :lol:

Yeah, I've got one, was considering cutting it down for six cells... :shock: Probably won't, though. :wink:

i'm sure it's not a "rare" piece, i just don't recall every seeing one. i'll probably never use it, because of having to drill 2 new holes farther ahead in a chassis. i don't like drilling holes if i don't have to. so, it's a good thing i also got two 6 cell ones with it.

Funny, I have a 7001 truck "B" chassis that was drilled ahead of the normal battey cup holes, but not far enough ahead for the 7 cell hold down. Probably just enough to use a stick pack without cutting the caps off. This chassis also has the super early "A"-era offset forward battery cup holes just behind the centered holes. :?

Gotta love Associated. and people with drills and countersinks. :roll:

At least they didn't drill a hole for the servo horn screw in this one... :lol:
