I was looking for some kind of comparison, but you nailed it better than I could ever do

Don't know if it's important, but those front wheels look like Tamiya Fox ones...radioactivity wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2019 11:20 am Thanks Jeff!
I think you nailed it. I looked and looked and could not find a similar car.
The front wheels are identical to the ones on the box although the front tires ( 2" ??? ) are hard as a rock.
The rears were apparently replaced with Bolink foams.
The resistor pack ( 3 wire type ) has been replaced with 2 sandstones so I'll have to look into that if I keep the MSC.

Re: I thought it was a Hornet
Thanks for all the help guys
I cleaned the the Lazer up a bit, really wasn't all that bad.
Cleaned and re-oiled the rear shocks. Cleaned and re-greased the suspensions moving points.
I have ordered a resistor pack so I'll soon see if the MSC works.
Still on the search for front tires, found 1 set but too much $ for this car. Probably going to settle for a cheaper solution.
Haven't decided to paint or not. The body is not pristine, lots of small scratches and scrapes.
