RC 10 VINTAGE BODY MOUNTS - LONGER????

I am always in the need to extend the classic white or black body mounts longer to accommodate different body shells. Does anyone have hack to extend them longer?? besides using washers and odd bits of tube plastic?

Does anyone CNC longer ones that may be twice or three times long or are very long and can be trimmed??

Your question has sparked a memory.
AE used to pack long body posts with RC10L kits.
I've looked them up and they are part number 8185 and there are a few sets for sale on ebay. These can easily be trimmed to the length you will need.
