So after getting my old Yokomo out of storage and giving it a light dustoff, I though hmmm these cars are fairly rare so maybe I should try and find some parts or a whole 2nd spare car for replacement bits...great idea...as I still really had not...

@rccars4sal, yes, you should be able to directly bolt on your magnesium bulkheads onto a works chassis. The only difference between the 870 and the Works bulkheads is the material - magnesium vs. aluminum, as you state. The aluminum does not oxidize...

Started a Yokomo Works 93 rebuild. Finally got one again - after i sold the two i already had i recognized this is my favorite yokomo :)

Cleaned it a bit, spur gear exchanged, shocks rebuild so far.

Are those wheels stickers or disks?

They are stickers that are somewhat reinforced compared to the yokomo wheel discs. They can also be removed and again be reattached a few times.

Hi Guys,
I have a never run Yok Works 91, but I have the problem that I don't have the original rear wheels, wing or original tyres for it.

It looks from a lot of the pictures on here that they had the square block front tyres and a long pin type...

Sorry, yes I have seen the BST post, just haven't been able to sort out getting onto it yet.

Thanks very much for the part numbers Dual! I thought the tyres were 31's and 310's..Doh!

Here's my minty fresh Works '91. Pretty much box stock except for the Titanium turnbuckles. Even have the instruction manual, though in Japanese ...

I would have been all over it is the ex rate was 1/2 as opposed to 2x between the GBP & USD.... like a said, just a sign of the world market.

Hi everyone,

This is my freshly built Yokomo Works '92 4WD Offroad Buggy. Definately one of my favourite Yokomo's as it was quite advanced for it's time and incorporated a lot of modifications and options that Masami Hirosaka used on his World...

Just scooped this off e-bay and I'm pretty happy. It came with a repro body but know wing or mounts. Does it use the 870c type wing mounts? Also what is the correct wing?

Now just need to find a good paint scheme to paint this up so if you have any...

Ok, the Works arms are the ones that I have on the schedule to make...but it sounds as if the other 94 version arms are the ones people would like?

Hi All, i found a works 91 to restore ;)
mine was bought in 91/92, and i have only the parcel :)

on the new one, i'm after a complete shell, on and Under, plus rear spoiler, and 2 rear shocks...

best place to find this?

Picked up this nice 93 works. I think I can whiten those bulkhead caps and i have a new set of copper springs for it as well.

Should have some rebuild updates on this one soon. I'm just waiting to get my stock arms back from my buddy who is machining some nylon arms for a runner build.
