Kyosho Mechanical Speed Control

Post by GWXP »

Hi all

Anyone wired one of these mechanical speed controls up minus the resistors?

What's the pro's and con's of doing so?

Thanks

Writhout resistors you can get low and medium, it would be full throttle or nothing, not classic!

I used to run no resistors on my old tamiya's , I'd link up the wires that went to the resistor this gave all parts of the contact plate full throttle , with the old Acoms servos being so slow it it meant I got to full throttle much quicker but it meant I had to blip the throttle in slower track sections , overall I found it worked for me at the time , of course I had very little money and ESC were new and rare items back then
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.
