Kyosho EP Ultima RB Type-R - brought off the shelf.

Post by deliverator »

My Kyosho EP Ultima RB Type-R, last time I ran it at OCRC was back around 2010-2012. I originally bought it back in Dallas, TX somewhere between 2001-2002. It currently has a Trinity P2K Pro 27T Stock brushed motor with a 22T pinion, some off brand reversable brushed ESC I pulled off my Redcat Blackout XTE Brushed, a Savox 1258TG servo, and a spektrum s300 receiver. It originally had a Novak Cyclone ESC, Hitec HS-5645MG servo, Futaba AM FP-R122JE receiver with a Futaba Magnum Junior Radio.

I was actually able to get a quite a few spare parts back in 2006-2009 including an extra chassis. Just ordered a new body online, going to make a mold of it to make more bodies, get a nice paint job for it by CBS (Colors by Steve), and put it back up on my shelf. I'll probably run it on the track over at OCRC with my proline suburb tires once restrictions are lifted. Just hope one of those heavy 1/8 buggies don't plow into it like my RC10B4.1 and break it in half.

Very nice car! 8)
I've only recently discovered the RB type R and was struck by how much it resembles a B3.
I've always thought of Kyosho as an innovator but they seemed to have copied a competitor's design in this instance.
That said, the RB is a very cool car and one I'd like to add to my collection some day. :D
