Hi from South of France !
Hi from South of France !
Hi,
Was in the hobby for few years in my childhood, my first car was a Marui Hunter... My last car was one of the first Schumacher CAT imported in France and later upgraded to an XL/XLS CAT. I kept the Schumacher on a shelf and each time I moved house I could not convince myself to give it away, I'm attached to this 34 year old CAT
Recently, one of my son showed interest in RC cars and, discovering that parts are again produced, I decided to put the old cat back on track.
I haven't driven an rc car for 30 years, been busy with my rc sail boats for decades and with drone recently.
Found lot of valuable information lurking here and hope to contribute and share some with you.

Welcome, glad to have new blood. We have members with all types and brands of RC cars and I'm sure we have room for all.

Welcome! Excellent choice the Cat, it was hard to find and expensive.... but it was winning every single race i have been to! Especially indoor. Didnt touch any RC for 30 years also... recently bought a Ultima RB6, restored an Optima Mid this year, and i am trying to bring my Alien back from the deads... but i am missing some parts, so... just a dream for now.

Good luck with the Alien, I remember wanting a zerda before the CAT exists.

Welcome aboard bismuth. After seeing Schumacher re-released the CAT XLS, it's on my wanted list. Certainly an awesome R/C.
