Hello everyone
Hello everyone. I recently picked up what I think is an original Team Associated RC10 gold pan and a box of spare parts, engines, etc. I've always wanted to get into the hobby and this is my first opportunity to do so. I'm looking forward to learning more and restoring my buggy to running condition. I've included a pic of what I have. Thank you in advance for any tips or advice you can offer.

Re: Hello everyone
That should clean up really nice.
Looks like fairly low run time, those should be the original tires.
Now let's see a picture of the bottom of the chassis

Two words: chassis protector.
What a nice car. You're fortunate to find an RC10 in such great condition.
Welcome aboard,

Re: Hello everyone
Other than the 3 extra holes, car is super clean and original
Next question, did you want to clean it up and get it running so you could do some light Demo runs or do you want a car to run?

Re: Hello everyone
Sounds good
And from the looks of it you shouldn't have to replace any parts.
Your Buggy will clean up nicely, amazing what some warm water, Dish soap and a Tooth brush can do.

Re: Hello everyone
I'm with you brother. Happiness is having an old RC10 to restore.

I just recently finished two of them and both are now in excellent running condition - but perhaps a little too nice to run in the dirt however.

Be careful as you clean your car, some chemicals will damage the anno parts. Not to sound like a broken record but I always think that dish soap and hot water are best.
I see you have an original manual as well. That's great!

Re: Hello everyone
Yeah I found everything in a cardboard box stuffed into a corner of a metal outbuilding at an estate sale. I asked the guy how much and he said: "Gimme $5 and it's yours".

Very nice find! As others mentioned above, she'll clean up nicely. The car looks to have had very low run time, the chassis is in great condition.
