Hello From Northern Ireland

Hi All,

I recently got my RC10 back up and running after 25+ years in storage. Since I've already been browsing this site for information, I thought I'd register and say hello

I bought this RC10 second-hand in the early 1990s, when "upgrading" from a Tamiya Terra Scorcher.
[Yes, I know its currently filthy, but my son & I have been enjoying having it running again. I promise I'll clean it soon]

The car had already been modified when I bought it, including Andy's bumper & front arms...

Andy's rear arms...

& Shortened body (I've always assumed this was to allow quick battery changes without needing to remove the wing)

I still have some spares

including an unpainted original Viper body

and a load of documents/manuals

Its been great to have the car running again (it needed a new ESC as the original was blowing fuses) and I'm thinking it might be time to finally paint the Viper shell

I already have some questions, but I'm going to spend some time searching the archives before I start bothering everyone with them

Thanks! If we ignore the fact that my first attempt to post timed out before I’d figured everything out, then yeah it was no problem at all
