Hi folks,
Got a used XXT, which oddly enough came with what appears to be a buggy transmission (2.19).
Want to ultimately upgrade it to a truck tranny at 2.61:1. Will a retrofit transmission work with the xxt, or is that only intended to work with older models (lxt etc)?

The internals are the same as the retro trans but the case is different and will not fit. The 2.19 trans and parts are harder to find than 2.61 stuff is my observation might even find someone willing to trade. I will double check what I have next chance..
