I'm interested in seeing a picture of the RPM part. 8015

It was listed as a part in the RPM worlds 7077 team car 91 worlds team car front end kit. Was there anything special about them?

The nose tubes are bent on a crazy angle has this thing taken a hit or what?

The chassis appears to be taco'd some too, at the point where it starts tapering wider towards the center. I have a 10T tub that has the same affliction.

I was wondering if anybody knows about rc10 nose tubes. My early 10 has a silver color to them, and my later one has more of a gold color. I've looked around the site for photo's but the color changes from photo to photo on the same car, probably...

Given the rarity of the Truck nose tubes these days, has anyone fabricated their own?

Is this the correct size if one were to tackle that project? I assume the screw holes need to be tapped to a certain thread as well.

Cut down buggy tubes, I screwed a truck tube to the buggy tube for a template, clamped in a drill press vise and drilled the hole, then cut to size.

Are nose tubes just a PITA for me and me alone? I mean, this is the second Team Truck that I work on, the nose plate in one case was new in the other case barely used, neither looked bent, chassis had barely a mark on them, but both cars required...

Maybe the tension in the system is put in on purpose, to make the front end more solid... like pre-tensioned concrete for construction...

I just bought some tappable aluminum tubing to make nose tubes/chassis braces for my BME chassis. What size tap do I need for the screws in the front and side?

Anyone have a good online source for cheap individual taps without buying a set? I plan...

yeah, 5-40 is also used by associated in a few places. should still be a size carried by mcmaster. you can get all-thread, or some long screws and clip the heads off for the other end. use jamnuts and red loctite on both sides, and they should work...

it was posted somewhere a while ago.. but i lost track..

does anyone have the part number from mcmcaster for the aluminum tube that can be cut and made to replace the wing tubes on rc10s?

i can probably find it myself with a caliper but im lazy...

The k&S tubing is the thick wall tubing. I have used it in the past for some resto porjects. Just cut to length and tap .
