JRXT steering servo recommendation
Was wondering if anyone had a steering servo recommendation? I was thinking either a savox 1256 or 1258. Or is there another one to consider?

Honestly, it depends on what you are planning to do with the truck and what your budget is. Any servo will "work", but I've found that higher torque servos, with a large servo saver, work the best in the Jrx-T. That Savox 1256 has descent torque specs, but unless your set on one of those two, you can find plenty of other options for a lot less money. For example, I've had good luck with the Savox 0231 in my bashers.

I was just planning for some basic use in the backyard or on flat dirt surface with little to no jumping. Just didn't know if there is a recommended speed of the servo and/or minimum torque that the servo should have to really make the most out of the JRXT. Thanks for the recommendation as it provides some insight as to the specs

does anyone else have thoughts on whether a high speed or high torque maximizes what the jrxt can do

Re: JRXT steering servo recommendation
Back in the 90s if you had a servo with 90 oz/in. that was overkill (That's plenty for a stadium truck even today IMO), and as far as speed, you don't need anything crazy fast unless you're racing something fast. I visually notice a slow servo (like .20 seconds) but I find anything around .13s and under is plenty quick for any kind of bashing. I'd make recommendations, but there are tons of great servos out there that won't break the bank. I'd just avoid the crappy Amazon specials and stick to a reputable brand.

I'm running the Savox SC-1257TG in my Super XXT. It has plenty of torque and is twitchy fast.
If you're just gonna backyard run it and not race the Hitec 32645S HS-645MG was great in the 90s and still is.
