Kyosho Dirt Master Ultima SB
Looks like a classic buggy body is back! RB5 based, rear motor, and with a gear differential, this buggy should be a blast!

Re: Kyosho Dirt Master Ultima SB
Well, let's see. Is there anything new here? No, nothing new; it's basically just a B4 knock-off.
That said, I think it looks very good, I enjoy building kits and I really enjoy running a buggy that looks like a proper buggy not some ugly insect.
Yes, I definitely plan to order when they're available and I hope they sell quickly. The same applies to the BBX and hopefully their success will tell manufacturers that there's still a market for kit buggies with classic styling.

I’ve had 1 of these kits in my hands through our local Nz kyosho importer and they are a very nice piece of kit for the money. A few clubs over here are looking at starting rear mount cab back classes for these and the associated offerings.
Only thing I wasn’t so sure on was the threaded plastic shock bodies.

I'd like to order a body set. I have an NIB RB5 in my closet and this body would be perfect for getting a hopped-up Dirt Master.

I know nothing about Losi buggies so you could be right.Retro rc wrote: ↑Fri Mar 31, 2023 3:17 pmSo what you're saying is it’s a knock off of a knock off of a losi xxx.

One thing I do know is that Kyosho makes very high quality RCs. I have a lot of RC models and some of them are junk but none of those were made by Kyosho. Honestly, I wouldn't worry about the plastic shocks - I reckon they will hold-up just fine.

It looks like Kyosho added a slug bug version, the Dune Master.
